How Do You Feel?

You probably wonder how it feels to go into a trance. It is not like the way the movies portray it. The process of being hypnotised is very subtle, and as it is happening you consciously never see it happening until your unconscious mind takes over and you find yourself slipping into what feels like sleep. Your eyes want to close, and your neck muscles relax and your head slumps either forwards or back, whichever way it wants to go.

And it could take place in a matter of seconds, and that is called a light trance. Your unconscious can see what is going on, and even your conscious mind is processing what is happening - and what your conscious really wants, when it happens, is to fall gently into sleep at that point, but that's not what is happening because as you realise how sleepy you are, your unconscious mind becomes free to act once your conscious thoughts have switched off.

And when you experience the onset of trance, deep trance, the kind that leads to somnambulistic trance, your conscious mind has already taken a vacation and will not know what is going on, but that is okay, because your unconscious has already taken over about two paragraphs back, and what follows is entirely for the unconscious mind.

And all that the unconscious wants to do is to follow instructions, and to enjoy those feelings of falling into trance, and you can enjoy that by clicking on this link and following the instructions there. And that is what it is like when you are in a trance.
