Becoming Hypnotic

Something I picked up from listening to one of my training courses. "Hypnosis is not something you do. It is something you are. Something you become."

I think I know what they mean. Where attention goes ... energy flows.

It's like focusing your attention on something in the room where you are in, right now - something that catches your notice. And while holding that in your mind, you become aware of how you feel about it.

But then there's something else in the room right now, which offers a different sensation, and while holding that thing, that sensation, you still have the first thing, the first sensation, and how it makes you feel, so you are perceiving two things, two sensations, two things that make you feel different things.

There are many things to hold your attention, but you might be drawn to the spiral at the top of the screen now, and how that makes you feel, too ...

In fact, now you're focusing on the spiral, it's like letting go of a rope, feeling the load lighten on your body and mind, where you're not fighting resistance any more, because it's time to let it all go, and drop.
