An ounce of validation from a satisfied third party is worth a ton of persuasion from you.

Get used to the idea that one day, you'll be riding high with some really sweet sub, and the next - he or she rabbits out of there, ghosts you, ceases to respond to you. No explanation.
The worst are the ones who come on to you, then tell you that they suddenly don't want to play that game any more, or tell you that you suddenly reached a hard limit that they never bothered to tell you about when you started, or the ones who "defect" to another tist.
Guys ... trust me, the subs are not being coerced, and they are not leaving you because they think that your hypno fu is shit. The other doms are not "poaching" your subs.
Subs can, and will, fuck off on their own and find other people. It happens in relationships out in the Nillaverse, and it happens here. Hypnosis does not guarantee fidelity.
But if you do have one, no matter what they do; whether they are mere roleplayers who piss off at the first sniff of a real trance, or they're the deepest and most loyal kind of sub who will stick with you all the way to the end and beyond, to settle with you in retirement ...; and that one leaves you with a decent testimonial, you can bank on that testimonial to bring you in new candidates.
It is so so good to have a good one who stays with you, but some folks here find that what they have, in their trade as hypnodoms, is a calling akin to being an actor, entertainer or whatever.
And as with all entertainers, you'll get your stans, your fans, the hangers on, and most of all your basic, casual audiences.
The faces of the audience will always change. Some don't; they're the followers, the true believers. But most of them will.
And a good word in from any one of them can make sure you'll never play to an empty room as long as you are working.
