Memories

What if hypnosis can insert a new memory from whole cloth?

I am working on a new script, to install a memory in a person's long-term memory, anchored with feelings of familiarity and even a hint of nostalgia.

In one of my experiments, I have inserted a memory of an innocuous joke that the client believes that they came up with themselves. In another one, it is a memory of how we met online last week and chatted about an albino squirrel in my back yard.

I added details to these memories - the sound of rain pouring down, my break for a few minutes to have some green tea - enough to add weight to them.

When I have a chat with my clients soon, I will prompt them to see if they treat my instructions as memories of things that actually happened. Soon as I get a result, I will let you know.
