The tale begins last century, with the dawning of my love for hypnotism.
It really started early in my childhood, with my first experiments. I was seven, and I succeeded in hypnotising my sister.
Over the years, now and then I'd try to hypnotise people, but it really wasn't until the late 1980s and 1990s, with some fumbling experimentation with trancing here and there with often variable results.
I used a small obsidian stone for my early experiments. It worked, but it took a long time for me to realise that I did npt need to use props or tools at all to trance someone.
I used to do all my trancing in a comics store in town. I tranced the proprietor, and a couple of the other customers. None of that "walk like a duck, bark like a dog" crap. Things like memory retention during exams, self-confidence in approaching potential romantic partners, things like that.
Thinking back about my early trancing experiments, I'm amazed I could even trance people at all.
But then I met the woman who would mentor me, and who gave me the instructions I needed to know in how to consistently put people in trances, anywhere and everywhere. I told her that while I'd like to know about how to use hypnosis in therapy, I was more interested in hypnosis as a kink - a fetish - and she smiled and taught me anyway. She put me on the track to becoming the tist I am today.
The story continues in the next post.
