Pause, for a moment.
It's the rain, pouring down. The sound of rainfall has a calming effect on some, and unusual as it sounds, the effect is based on a realisation that you don't have to carry around all that weighty anxiety in your chest, and on your shoulders. And when you can identify, and focus on, those areas, now that I've brought them up, and you can understand what my words mean to you.
And wouldn't you like to be the person who wants to relax those parts of the body, rather than continue to experience that tension, if you could just take a deep breath, count to three, feel the rain on your face, and release those tensions and heavy feelings at the same time as you let your breath out?
And in concentrating on that, to the point where you release more of those tensions with your next outbreath, you may now realise that those endorphins and hormones have already burst forth throughout your body, and there they are in the places you were concentrating on, where you are letting go the most, as the rain keeps pouring down, cool air brushing gently on your skin, sussuration of the sound on the grass.
And the more you consciously realise how deep you are, letting the rain sensations penetrate deep into you, its gentle, cool caress soothing all that pent-up heat and tension, the more you unconsciously, that way, let go, and want to let go, as your consciousness dissolves and diminishes, and you are no longer aware of anything but the rain and your breathing, and now your breathing, and in your next breath nothing at all, to the point where you are now ready to slip beneath, and let go, and drop, and close your eyes and enter that deep state of being now, and once you're there, click on the link below for a journey to another, even more peaceful, place, of water, and waves.
